Jakub Wronski is a partner in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Boston. Jakub represents private equity sponsors and other institutional investors, as well as public and private companies in domestic and cross-border transactions, in domestic and cross-border transactions, including leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, minority investments and divestitures. Jakub also counsels clients on general corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, securities laws and other strategic matters.
Jakub’s clients include Advent International, Berkshire Partners, Charlesbank, Providence Equity Partners and PSG Equity, among others. Jakub has extensive transactional experience across numerous industry sectors, including technology and communications, financial services, industrials and consumer.

Jakub is the Hiring Partner for the Boston office and is actively involved in the Firm’s pro bono efforts, providing advice to a variety of local not-for-profits. In addition, Jakub dedicates a significant portion of his time to various Firm initiatives and committees, including the Professional Development Committee and the Professional Evaluation and Compensation Committee.Jakub was recently recommended for M&A/Corporate and Commercial: Private Equity Buyouts by Legal 500 US and was recently recognized as a “Notable Practitioner” for Private Equity in the U.S. by IFLR1000 2024.
Jakub received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was a Symposium Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology and a research assistant at the Berkman Centre for Internet and Society. Prior to his legal career, he studied mechanical engineering at the University of Toronto and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his research focused on computer-aided design and product development.
